Optional: für die Installation der MagicMatch Kalibrierungsprofile, kopieren Sie die Ordner (MONITOR, PRINTER, SCANNER) im Ordner PROFILES von Ihrer original Treiber-CD in den Ordner PROFILES des heruntergeladenes und entpackten aktuellen Treibers auf Ihrer Festplatte und führen Sie die komplette Installation aus.
Der Treiber befindet sich auch auf der Umax Windows Archiv-CD.

Hinweise:
1. Astras 1200S mit externem Netzteil benötigen Firmware 3.1
2. Bei der Installation für einen USB-Scanner unter Windows 2000 benutzen Sie bitte den Updater (913 KB). Bei eventuellen Problemen (Fehler 31) unter Windows 2000 bitte zusätzlich die Datei pv8630.sys im "WinNTsystem32" und "WinNTsystem" Ordner ersetzen.
3. Bei Vistascan ab 3.55 wird der Treiber für die UDS-IS11 SCSI-ISA nicht mehr automatisch installiert !
4. Beim Einsatz der USD-IS11 ISA SCSI Karte unter Windows ME muß der Mini-Port Treiber über den Hardware-Assistenten nachträglich installiert werden. Aus der Liste der Hardwaretypen SCSI-Controller wählen und dann auf das Verzeichnis Disk1 verweisen.
5. Nach der Installation von VistaScan unter Windows 2000 wird die Umax ISA-SCSI-Karte UDS-IS11 nicht erkannt. Installieren Sie den Treiber DTC3X8X.SYS Bei Aufforderung der Adresszuweisung wählen Sie bitte manuell 340h aus. Bitte folgendes beachten: Dieser Controller benutzt die Adresse 340h, welche nicht verändert werden kann. Oft benutzen Netzwerk-Karten oder andere ISA-Karten die gleiche Adresse. Hierbei kann es zu einem Konflikt kommen.

Optional: to install MagicMatch calibration profiles copy the folders (MONITOR, PRINTER, SCANNER) from the folder PROFILES of the original driver CD into the folder PROFILES of the downloaded and expanded current driver on your hard disk und select the appropriate components in the setup dialog.
The driver is also available on the Umax Windows archive CD.

Notes:
1. Astras 1200S with an external power supply require Firmware 3.1
2. Installing the driver for a USB scanner under Windows 2000 please use the Updater (913 KB). Should you experience any problems (error 31) while scanning under Windows 2000, please use this file pv8630.sys to replace the existing ones in folders "WinNTsystem32" and "WinNTsystem".
3. Vistascan 3.55 and newer do not automatically install the driver for the Umax ISA SCSI controller UDS-IS11 SCSI-ISA !
4. To use the Umax USD-IS11 ISA SCSI controller under Windows ME you have to install the mini-port driver with the help of the Hardware-Assistant. In the hardware type list select "SCSI-Controller" and refer the Assistant to the folder Disk1 of the driver directory.
5. The Installation of VistaScan under Windows 2000 does not directly support the Umax ISA-SCSI UDS-IS11 controller. If you use this controller, please install the driver DTC3X8X.SYS At the prompt for the address setting select 340h. Please consider that the ISA controller uses as default the address 340h, which cannnot be changed. Very often this address is used by network adapters and other ISA cards which can lead to hardware conflicts. Should this be the case, chande the address of the other adapter. |
