| The
PowerLook 270 Plus has got an optical resolution of 2700 dpi meeting the
needs of both professional and keen amateur photographers. The fast scan speed, manufacturing quality and software bundle push it to the top position of in its market segment. With a dynamic range of 3.4D the PowerLook 270 Plus capture details in the darkest areas of slides and negatives. The scanner is provided with scanframes for mounted slides (2mm/3mm) and a frame for 35mm film strips. The PowerLook 270 Plus is the big brother of the PowerLook 270 and is equipped additionally with the powerful anti-dust and scratch function Digital ICE, developed by Applied Science Fiction, Inc.. To enable this, the scanner architecture was fundamentally changed. Using an additional infrared light source, rays penetrate the slide/negative at an angle. Dust and scratches show up as shadows. Based on the real scanned image the software is able to distinguish shadows/scratches from real image structures and removes them automatically. | Added
to the package of the PowerLook 270 is the award winning SilverFast Ai
in its latest Version 5.5 from LaserSoft Imaging. The new
negative function NegaFix is a key break through in negative-scanning
quality. Negative scanning has never been better or easier. 120 negative
profiles are provided as part of the software. If custom profiles are
required, often needed for very old negatives, a range of sophisticated
tools can help to guarantee precise settings. To optimise the workflow, LaserSoft Imaging developed the so called SilverFast JobManager. With this application the user prescans all slides/ or the negatives in at once, controls and changes if necessary each individual image, and finally just pushes the scan button. All images will be scanned with its specific adjustments in batch scan mode. |
